Trainsignal.com releases VCAP-DCA Course!

Trainsignal has done it again! Before I get started in talking about the VCAP-DCA course, I want to compliment Trainsignal for their latest moves to better their products and services.

First, they have recently gone to a monthly subscription service rather than charging a lump sum per course. This has opened the doors to many people (like myself) to be able to take multiple courses that I would otherwise not be able to afford without an employer helping pay for the course.

Secondly, Trainsignal has started releasing lessons/courses more rapidly, picking up the pace to release courses on the latest technologies.

THANK YOU!

Now, for the VCAP-DCA... The VCAP-DCA course on Trainsignal consists of 27 lessons and roughly 15 hours of content. Jason Nash is the instructor (@TheJasonNash). Jason has also created 5 other Trainsignal courses:

  • Cisco Nexus 1000v Implementation
  • Implementing Cisco UCS
  • VMware vCOPs Implementation
  • vSphere Advanced Networking
  • VMware vSphere Security Design

Obviously this isn’t Jason’s first time creating a course which is also a plus when it comes to value of the course.

I have personally done several of Jason’s courses and am excited to finish this one.

The Course consists of the main topics found in the VCAP-DCA Blueprint created by VMware, so it will cover thins such as:

  • Storage
  • Connectivity
  • Networking
  • Performance and Optimization
  • Monitoring
  • Security/hardening
  • Automation
  • and Auto-deploy/customizations

I hope all of you with your VCP will take the time to take this course. Hopefully it will help aide you in passing your VCAP on the first try.
